Buying A Used Car With Political BumperstickersOne of the funniest things about seeing someone buying a used car is looking at the layers of political bumperstickers that adorn some of them. Many times the car is covered in political bumperstickers of losing candidates, which makes it even funnier. I will admit that during the last election I put two Kerry/Edwards political bumperstickers on my car, but I made sure to put it on in a way that was easily removable after the election. I will also admit that I have now put it back on after seeing the mess that could have been avoided if they were actually elected! They are some of the few political bumperstickers I don't mind having on my car, even though they lost. If you want to put a political bumpersticker on your car and be able to remove it after an election, there are a few ways to do so. You can then remove the backing from the bumpersticker and adhere it to the magnetic sheet, cut around the bumpersticker and then use that to adhere the sticker to your car. Instead of a sticker, you now have a magnet which can be easily removed or moved after an election. Also, you can just tape the political bumperstickers to the inside of your car window again allowing you to remove the stickers easily after elections. There are, of course, some political bumperstickers that are fine being on a car forever. Something that just shows affiliation to either the Democrat or Republican party, or even Libertarian or Green parties, are perfectly fine being on a car at any time during the year. Also, things promoting initiatives and causes that you personally hold a belief in are much better being on a car permanently than losing candidate stickers. However, everyone is certainly entitled to their own personal tastes, and some do like to advertise which way they voted in past elections. Some feel that they held the candidates in such high regard that they would like their names still out there. Just be sure to think ahead and think about how long you wish to keep your car. If you think you might just run that car into the ground, you are probably fine putting whatever political bumperstickers you choose on your car. If you think you might sell, you might want to try an alternative way to adhering them to your car. This is a snipprt Read more...
